The European Central Bank (ECB) has recently published a report outlining the EU\u2019s approach to tackling greenwashing. The ECB recommends that future greenwashing legislation should build on the existing sustainability disclosure framework, including legislation like the EU Taxonomy<\/a>, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)<\/a>, and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal is to improve transparency, set clear standards, and align companies with sustainability objectives. However, the report does not assess the Omnibus proposals, which aim to simplify sustainability-related legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
